Supervisor, Technical Parts Support

Supervisor, Technical Parts Support

Supervise a team of Technical Parts Support Analysts responsible for training, reviewing, interpreting and analyzing technical truck related data in order to answer inquiries from the International Dealer Organization, customers and internal company personnel.

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years technical parts support experience; or 5 years technical parts support experience
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • The candidate placed into this position will be ineligible to apply for any other positions with in the company for two years following the date of placement, unless approved by his or her manager

  • Knowledge of Parts business systems
  • Analytical skills, math skills and basic financial understanding
  • Leadership, negotiating, organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Extensive PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret engineering bills of materials, blue prints, parts catalog and engineering illustrations
  • Ability to work overtime as required to put for the extra effort to satisfy customers needs on a daily basis
  • Broad technical knowledge relating to the trucking industry and Parts Aftermarket
  • Effectively represent International to all dealers and customers
  • Strong customer focus with demonstrated customer conscious attitude (internal and external)
  • Working knowledge of truck product information systems, Parts Catalog On-Line, TOLAS, Pharos, IMS, EOFF, DCP and able to train others in these systems
  • Able to resolve conflict
  • Independent decision making skills, takes risks
  • Progress toward a degree in a transportation or business related field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or a Technical field.
