Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. be a leader in the industry by acting as the Project Management Admin in Chicago, IL. This position requires a strong Administrative professional to ensures that Safety-Kleen’s waste management and remediation project include the appropriate scope of work and that the cost and revenue associated with projects are properly identified, tracked and reported to management. Ensure proper business margin is met and adhered to company's use of SK approved vendors
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare technical services quotes for remediation and hazardous waste management projects
· Develop relationships with third-party vendors
· Receives and analyzes project requests for completeness, proper business margin, and selection of proper vendor sources
· Provides analysis of Total Project, including all cost (multiple purchase orders) and revenues (multiple billing documents) and Summaries for review by Regional Project manager
· Assures all requirements and special terms and conditions are met
· Plans and carries out activities within the responsibilities of the position to ensure prompt issuance of purchase oders for disposal, transportation materials, equipment and other related items in the quantity required where needed
· Communicates and works closely with Regional Project Manager, Sales and Marketing departments, and personnel to coordinate delivery schedules, provide purchase order information, resolve invoice discrepancies and check goods receipts
· Performs weekly reporting to assess all open purchase orders and verifies status through proactive communication with other department personnel and vendor suppliers
· Communicates with vendors concerning orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve invoice discrepancies
· Other duties as required
Qualifications
· Strong Administrative skills
· 2 years college or specialized training. Chemistry background a plus
· 1-3 years of experience in environmental project management a plus
Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
