Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM), (www.jupitermedia.com) headquartered in Darien, CT, is a leading provider of original images and information for creative, business and information technology professionals.  Jupiterimages, a division of Jupitermedia, offers online subscriptions and single image downloads for clipart, web graphics, photos, footage and music (including flash versions) via a comprehensive network of design-oriented web sites for industry professionals and individual consumers. 

Jupiterimages has an opening for a Photo Researcher in their Chicago, IL office.  Photo Researchers are responsible for presenting image options to customers for selection purposes.  Images are retrieved through use of key words.  This role supports efforts of the sales staff with the express purpose of promoting for sale all Jupiterimages’ products and services.  Photo Researchers will search and present via website lightbox a concise selection of images appropriate for customer consideration according to request specifications within a specific period of time.  Maintain daily logs for request tracking. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Select the most appropriate product that meets the requested needs of the customer in a timely manner in order to stimulate the sales of our products.
• Provide high-level service and satisfaction to our customers and the account executives.
• Give input and help with department projects when needed.

 

Job Requirements:

• Excellent visual search and selection and strong customer service are the most essential abilities needed for this position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic working knowledge and ability to master effective key word searching, websites, computers, customer use of visual products and services.
• Professional etiquette; clear, confident and friendly.
• Motivated, self-starter.
• Must be people and service oriented.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail a must.
• Individuals with a proven background in the visual and creative field are preferred.
