Join The Best... The Midwest's largest Transportation Company is currently looking to fill the position of a Customer Service Representative for our Broadview, Illinois location.
The position of Customer Service Representative is responsible for the daily receipting, documenting, prioritizing, resolution, and communication of customer inquiries. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Cash Processing and Armored Transportation fields. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; requires close supervision to ensure goals are met and policies and quality practices are adhered to.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned)
· Responding via phone, fax or e-mail to customer inquiries.
· Utilizes various corporate systems for documentation, research and communication, such as Siebel, Money Manager System, and DeposiTrak.
· Interacts with armored and money room personnel in search of solution to customer issue.
· Updates various databases on customer contact, nature of issues, current status and resolution description
· Reports to management any breaches of auditory control within organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· This position requires a high school diploma or G.E. D.
· This position requires the incumbent to have 0-3 year’s general office experience, with a preference for customer service or client support experience.
· This position requires good written, oral and reading communication skills in order to accurately obtain, interpret and transcribe a variety of communications and instructions.
· This position requires a minimum typing speed of 45 wpm.
· Knowledge or experience in armored transportation, currency processing or related field is helpful.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is desired.
· Position requires general knowledge of business office operations; the ability to quickly learn and understand the corporate systems stated above is essential to become successful in the position.
· This position requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
· Incumbent must be multi-task oriented, organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the incumbent to work indoors in a fast paced office environment. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Individuals in this position require a full range of physical motion. Incumbent must be able to:
· Have normal day vision, corrected or uncorrected, and have normal hearing, with or without device.
· Have normal manual dexterity with the ability to use a keyboard and PC for consecutive hours.
