Sony Electronics Inc. has an excellent opportunity available for an Accounting Support Representative II, in our Cash Application group, in our Itasca, Illinois facility. In this position, you will be working within a team environment where excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Your responsibilities will include posting cash to SAP A/R customers, posting incoming checks, wires, ACH and credit cards, handling Sony Style credit card application in Oracle and processing returned checks and reconciliations. You will be utilizing Excel spreadsheets for customers supplying remittance information via spreadsheet, which is uploaded into SAP. Additionally, you will be responsible for working with Sony Customer Service Specialists to reconcile payments, invoices, credits and deductions and for occasionally communicating with bank personnel to work out differences in lockbox keying.


High School diploma or equivalent
SAP and Microsoft Excel skills
Oracle experience is a plus
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to periodically work overtime and/or weekends as workload and month end closing requires
