PURPOSE:
Responsible for early hours support for help desk. Processes and looks for ways to improve/automate EDI. Timeliness of EDI transactions is critical to the customer total care relationship. Responsible for documentation of these processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent
Excellent organizational skills
Basic MS Windows skills
Good communication skills
Previous help desk experience is a definite plus
ESSENTIAL RESULTS:
EDI
Report on success of EDI processing
Perform all required EDI daily functions
Assist EDI Administrator with EDI implementations
Work with Customer Service to provide them EDI transactions for daily order entry
Troubleshoot basic errors with EDI processes
Operations
Report on success of system utilities
Responsible for daily server backup tapes
PC Skills
Business hours support for MIS Emergency number
Quality control of computer setup
Help Desk
Troubleshoot user network issues; unlock accounts
Clerical
Process Purchase Order requisitions for supplies
Maintain software licenses and media for software
Maintain PC hardware/software folders in files and Track-IT software
Maintain IS documentation
Maintain EDI documentation
Streamline of EDI documentation and processes
Other duties as assigned
