State Farm Insurance National Merit Scholarship

National Merit scholarships are one-time, nonrenewable awards of $2,500 made to high school seniors who qualify as top finalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation chooses scholars based on PSAT/NMSQT scores and other criteria.

Achievement Scholarships are awarded to African-American high school seniors selected by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation based on: PSAT/NMSQT scores, Academic distinction, Personal achievement, and Leadership abilities.
