South Central Community Services, Inc., located on the south side of Chicago, is a comprehensive human service agency committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and families by providing mental health, educational, socio-economic and recreational programs and services throughout metropolitan Chicago.
We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a Special Administrative Assistant position in the Executive Office of the President/CEO. Successful candidate, under the Supervision of the Executive Assistant, will ensure the implementation of all administrative functions. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Converting minutes of meetings and transcribe into typed form.
Typing forms, letters, memorandums, proposals, and other general correspondence.
Assist with the planning and implementation of events for Executive Office, board related matters, fund raising, and retreats.
Job Requirements:
Applicants must have knowledge and skills/aptitude for advance computer operations, including the ability to produce graphic designs.
At least High School graduate with minimum of five (5) years experience in the clerical/administrative field, preferably at the executive level.
Ability to type at least 60 wpm and possess speedwriting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to work with all levels of personnel and have reliable transportation.
