Sales & Marketing Representative

The Sales Associate ideally possesses at least two years sales experience. Successful candidates will have demonstrated skills in persuasive verbal and written communication; relationship development; understand reporting structures; and project management. The candidate must have the ability to work with PC systems and database tools, online chat systems, and email. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Associate will play an integral role in growing the company. By helping to plan and execute our marketing and sales strategies, working directly with customers, prospects and business partners, the Sales Associate will be a key member of this high-growth firm. To perform in this fast-paced environment, strong process and analytical skills and a demonstrated attention to detail are critical. The candidate should be motivated by monthly targets and a performance-based bonus.

The Sales Associate position will have the following responsibilities:

Communication with Prospective Clients (75-80%): Identifying and qualifying prospects through a variety of methods. These efforts will be well-supported by a clear strategy and robust sales support tools, including Salesforce.com.
Sales Support (10-15%): Supporting the Sure Decisions management team in setting marketing and sales strategy, and in closing new business. This includes scheduling follow up meetings for Sales Vice Presidents, confirming business meetings, among other various administrative and support tasks.
Institutional and Prospective Client Research (10-15%): This includes researching prospects and executives within your territory of prospects, as well as understanding the products you are selling.

Successful candidates may have the opportunity to move into direct sales as skills are proven and a track record is established.
