Loss Prevention Investigators are primarily responsible for detaining and interviewing persons apprehended for shoplifting in accordance with local laws and company procedures. LPIs must be able to build partnerships and be responsive to the LP concerns of Loss Prevention Managers, Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers and Store Associates. Key responsibilities include : ensuring the physical security of the store, driving a "shrink elimination" culture within the store, and writing reports that document apprehensions and recoveries.
