JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for growing revenue through targeting and developing new business prospects and accounts across Consulting, Staffing, and Outsourcing with a focus on Information Technology. Partners with Solutions Development group to develop, create, and promote customized IT solutions for clients and with the Fulfillment organization to help clients meet their short and long-term staffing needs, while meeting CDI’s strategic business goals. Capable of properly positioning CDI’s full product/solution offerings and delivering Manager/Director level presentations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Engage directly with key clients to solidify, grow and expand CDI business opportunity.
Execute branch/national sales strategy.
Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts.
Develop account plans and needs assessments for area(s) of responsibility.
Partner with Solutions Development, Solutions Delivery, and Fulfillment Management organizations, as appropriate, to ensure the effective implementation and execution of an appropriate engagement methodology and approach that ensures client satisfaction.
Prospect and cold call for new profitable business with a focus on IT.
Develop customer relationships with key decision makers.
Utilize Consultative Selling techniques that apply solutions across full suite of product offerings.
Exhibit collaborative effort with national sales strategies.
Participate in the proposal process (RFQ, RFI, RFP) and get all required approvals (pricing, CMO, etc.)
Meet or exceed activity and results-based goals and metrics.
Establish and maintain client contact and build relationships through sales calls, entertainment, and written communication; also by attending industry conferences, seminars, and tradeshows.
Provide excellent customer service and employee maintenance to the Field Employee population.
Identify and understand CDI capabilities, industry trends and performance of competitors.
Facilitate contract review process and coordinate review of contract changes with customer.
Maintain Customer Relationship Management database (CRM).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES

Bachelors Degree or the equivalent in combined education and professional experience required.
3+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales and/or Sales Support, with demonstrated success selling intangible service deliverables required. This includes a minimum of at least 2 years of specific Professional Services sales experience or an equivalent combination of recruiting and sales.
Solid background in the Information Technology field, with experience in and understanding of the operations aspects of information technology services is preferred.
Experienced at cold calling and generating a high call volume resulting in relationship-driven sales opportunities.
Manager/Director level sales experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of the marketplace within the designated sales territory.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close the deal.
Outgoing, self-driven, can work independently, goal oriented, motivated.
Superior analytical skills and ability to understand business processes, objectives, and the client mission.
Superior organizational and planning abilities.
Must be a team player and self-starter, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and projects a professional image.
Demonstrated competency and experience utilizing CRM management systems and/or other sales tools.
Demonstrated competency and experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
