The main objective of a server is to ensure that his/her guests leave the Odyssey with unforgettable memories of their experience. Not only are they to enjoy good food, beverage, sightseeing and entertainment, but they should enjoy hospitality more gracious than they could have anywhere else.

They must be able to describe all wines by the glass, and have basic knowledge of the wine list and all liquor products that are available. Servers are responsible for check presentation and collecting payment for onboard purchases. Servers must be 21 years of age.

This includes understanding and demonstrating the Odyssey Identity Statement,. Odyssey Shared Values and the Five Hospitality Behaviors. Servers must also help other teammates in other departments if needed.

Odyssey believes all employees should work together to achieve excellence through mutual respect and teamwork. A positive work environment will foster a positive guest experience!

Our severs are bright, energetic, "take charge" people who have the stamina to lift, transport and break-down heavy trays, climb up and down stairs, and be active on their feet for at least eight hours of the day. Servers are required to lift tables and chairs on and off the boat as needed for deck reset. The server must maintain a clean, professional and positive work area at all times, as well as clean and professional uniform standards.

The work can be challenging, but the rewards will be great. Welcome aboard!
