Local Haul Driver - CDL Class A - Chicago, IL

The Local Haul driver must enjoy a physically challenging atmosphere while meeting the expectations and requirements set forth while conducting deliveries.

The Local Haul driver will travel locally, must hold a Class A CDL, and demonstrate the ability to handle a 53’ tractor-trailer. He/she must be safety-focused and service-driven, while being able to provide this service in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment. Prompt arrival and regular attendance is necessary. Personal appearance by being well-groomed and in a clean uniform is required when reporting to work each day. The ability to learn and develop in the position are essential for success. Must be dependable and a team player while also performing well while working alone.

Additional Requirements:
Prior experience driving is highly desirable. If required, the individual must be able to properly load/unload carts of product from the trailer without assistance. Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. The position may involve exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions.
