MSNBC’s Internship program offers college students the opportunity to take a first step into the broadcasting industry.
MSNBC Interns are unpaid and therefore must be: Enrolled at an accredited four or five-year college or university; Able to provide proof of credit from your college or university prior to starting your assignment; On track to receive a bachelor or advanced degree from a college or university.
MSNBC looks for students who are committed to a career in media/broadcasting through experiences in their major studies, college clubs/organizations, prior media based internships or prior media work experience. Grade point average, community service, and leadership experience are also an important part of the total assessment of student applicants.
The student may work during the fall, spring, or summer college semesters full-time or part-time based on student availability and department/show needs.
