Part Time Exhibitor Service Associate

GES Exposition Services, a leading tradeshow and event marketing company, is seeking a high-energy, growth-oriented professional with demonstrated leadership abilities, integrity and passion for hassle-free service for the position of Part Time Exhibitor Service Associate at our Chicago, IL location.

General Responsibilities:
To assist the Exhibitor Services department with pre, during, and post show matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Pre-show audits
· Assist exhibitors
· Place Exhibitor orders
· Assist with invoicing
· Answer questions regarding invoices
· Assist with/own collections
· Position requires extensive phone contact with clients

Education/Experience:
· College Degree preferred
· One(1) to Three(1) years experience in a customer service environment
· Detail-oriented
· Computer skills preferred (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Skills/Competencies:
· Analytical Problem solving
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Basic math
· Organization skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to work with little supervision
· Ability to work well in a sometimes loud or otherwise uncomfortable atmosphere due to show floor inconsistencies

Physical Requirements:
· Typically requires the ability to sit for long periods of time
· Requires normal use of computer hardware
· Move and transport materials
· Stand for long periods of time while working
· Walk for long periods of time and great distances on show floor

Working Conditions:
· Performs work in an office or warehouse setting
· Also will be required to performs work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas
· Must be available for nights & weekends
· Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
· Ability to travel preferred
