Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

As a Sales Coordinator you will work with the sales teams in our Chicago office providing administrative and organizational sales support to our growing teams and managers. You must have impeccable organizational, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to multi-task on a daily basis, basic technological knowledge, and the drive to accomplish long-term, detailed projects.

Responsibilities include:

Update and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales related spreadsheets
Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database for Direct Sales team
Produce quotations and evaluations orders for a wide array of businesses such as retailers, healthcare providers, insurance companies, universities, etc.
Create and maintain general correspondence and proposals with potential and current customers
Prepare for and attend monthly sales meetings - minute taking is required
Handle customer inquiries and incoming sales leads and take accurate messages
Provide phone support for traveling sales representatives and managers
Coordinate travel plans for sales staff and managers
Participate in inter-departmental projects as needed
Requirements include:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
1 year of administrative experience preferably in a sales environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision
Have initiative and be pro-active
Strong organizational skills
Flexible, yet assertive approach to all areas of responsibility
Must love a friendly, competitive environment
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
Character and creativity to foster a more enjoyable and productive workplace that in turn generates greater revenue
Knowledge of Siebel CRM or other CRM program a plus
