POSITION SUMMARY: Currently, we have an excellent career opportunity available for a Customer Service Specialist (Conservation) in the Uptown Chicago offices of Combined Insurance Company of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aon Corporation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Work with customers via inbound calls and outbound dialer. Assists customers wanting to discontinue insurance by reviewing benefits of products and/or resolving service and claims issues. Assist in collection of premiums currently due or past due. (Training is 1-3 month and involves on the job training, classroom and one-on-one coaching. Must be able to obtain Illinois Producer license--company provides training and pays fees for 2 sittings.)
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Previous customer service or call center experience helpful-previous experience with a predictive dialer helpful-previous insurance, conservation very helpful. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. PC proficiency. Ability to speak Spanish or French Canadian very helpful.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High school diploma. Some college helpful.
