Napoleon Hill, the author of Think and Grow Rich, believes that a person does not have to be a genius to become rich. Any person can become wealthy if he thinks positively and has a deep desire to achieve his goal.
Positive Thinking: You must see your financial dreams and know that you will be able to attain them. You must already own them.
If you begin making up every rationalization under the sun why you can't succeed, pinch yourself. You have to discipline your body and mind to think positive thoughts. Teach yourself that those kind of thought patterns are unacceptable. You can obtain greatness, even if you are not the smartest, most talented, or best looking person in the world. Success is your if you'll just allow it to come into your life. Don't underestimate the power of your thoughts.
Burning Desire: Hill tells a true tale of a man named Edwin Barnes who desired to become Thomas Edison's partner. Most of us would have scoffed at him had we lived back then. Edwin Barnes was a nobody. Nevertheless, he had a deep desire, a life dream, and he was determined. He went to Thomas Edison and convinced him to hire him. He did not instantly achieve his dream, but he worked hard and ultimately became Thomas Edison's partner. This was a feat everyone thought was impossible.
Edwin Barnes followed these 7 steps to gain this great success:
1. Choose a definite dream.
2. Put all your energy into that dream.
3. Be willing to do menial work at first.
4. Visualize your dream.
5. Form a strategy.
6. Endure through the hard times.
7. Eliminate any way to retreat.
As you focus on obtaining your goals, answer these questions: What is the exact amount of money I want? What am I willing to sacrifice for it? What exact date do I want this money by? What is my strategy?
Don't forget, to successful people, there is no such thing as "defeat." What looks like defeat is no more than a great opportunity. Start creating opportunities out of failures and being successful today!

The Secret to Becoming Rich

Using Your Health Savings Account to Pay for International Travel
By: Wiley P. Long
Thousands of U.S. citizens are taking advantage of the low cost and high quality of foreign hospitals by traveling abroad for medical treatment. The savings are often 75 percent or more, and the entire cost of treatment may even be payable with tax-free money from a Health Savings Account.
Medical tourism first began to get popular in the 1990's, when people began traveling in large numbers to Brazil for cosmetic surgery. But as costs have continued to rise, thousands of Americans have been traveling overseas for real medical conditions, such as knee replacements, by-pass operations, heart valve replacements, and other serious issues. Many countries are seeing medical tourism as a good way to bring in foreign money.
In many cases the quality of medicine available overseas is equal to the top hospitals in the U.S. Patients are showing up at places like the Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, India, part of a 36-hospital chain founded by a cardiologist from Massachusetts General. A heart valve replacement may cost $50,000 to $100,000 in the U.S., and only $12,000 in India, including travel costs.
Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center, in Delhi, India, is another popular medical tourist destination. It was founded by Dr. Naresh Trehan, an authority on robotic cardiac surgery formerly based at New York University.
Blue Cross Blue Shield has just announced that they will pay for treatment at Bumrungrad International Hospital, in Bangkok, Thailand for individuals from South Carolina. Over 80,000 Americans received treatment there last year. The hospital boasts that over 200 of its doctors are board-certified in the U.S, and will perform a knee replacement operation for 20 percent of what it would cost in the U.S.
Who Does This?
Dodie Gilmore is a 60 year-old rodeo barrel-racing champ from Oklahoma. She runs a 180 acre ranch, but could no longer ride a horse because she needed a hip replacement. Her health insurance plan had an exclusion that wouldn't cover her operation, and she really didn't feel like paying the $35,000 it would cost her. Instead she and her partner flew to India where she had the surgery at the Max Institute of Orthopedics and Joint Replacement.
Her physician was Dr. S.K.S. Marya, who averages one American hip-replacement patient every week. Dodie's total coast, including travel, was only $11,000. She even managed to take in a tour of the Taj Mahal.
Forty to Sixty percent of those surveyed say they would consider surgery abroad if it could save them $5,000 or more. Going out of the U.S. (perhaps even just to Mexico), could be a worthwhile strategy if you have an exclusionary waiver on your policy, if you'll be having elective surgery not covered by your health insurance policy, or if you have a high deductible plan.
What is the Risk?
According to the Institute of Medicine, over 100,000 accidental deaths occur in hospitals every year. And that's here in the U.S. Hospitals are a dangerous place to be, and you want to spend as little of your life in one as possible. So there are risks everywhere, and probably greater risks outside the U.S.
But the magic of the free-market does give you some protection. There is a lot of money flowing to countries and international hospitals that practice high-quality medicine. If a hospital does not provide quality service, you can bet its customers will go elsewhere, particularly if they are choosing among anywhere in the world.
The influx of foreign patients (and money) is enticing more western-trained doctors to return home, so the choices are actually increasing, and the quality and prices continue to improve. I believe that if you use care in choosing your provider and structuring your treatment, the risks are no greater than having surgery here in the U.S.
How to Research Your Options
Keep in mind that most health insurance plans still will not cover for treatment outside the U.S., particularly if you are traveling specifically to receive medical care. So check with your insurer if the cost of the treatment is going to exceed your deductible.
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations certifies hospitals here in the U.S. Their international division, Joint Commission International, certifies hospitals throughout the rest of the world. Make sure the facility that you are considering has been certified by them.
Then check out your doctor. Confirm that he or she is English speaking, and was trained in the U.S., U.K., Australia, or Germany.
Finally, consider hiring a consultant to help you choose the best hospital and surgeon for your needs. A good service will not only set up the treatment, but can also arrange all travel plans, meet you at the airport, and act as your liaison while you are being treated.
If you spend money from your Health Savings Account to pay for international medical care, the amount you withdraw is tax-free. Health Savings Account regulations also allow you to cover the cost of your travel if the reason you are traveling to get medical care is not "for purely personal reasons."
When choosing how to manage your health, you should carefully consider all your options. International travel is a great option for people with Health Savings Accounts.

What To Look For In Mp3 Player Reviews
by: Roberto Sedycias
An MP3 player review is an important resource for any potential buyer. It provides information on the product, having been tested by a range of people including experts and in a range of environments. The whole point of a review is that it allows the reader to get a well rounded outlook on a product before purchasing. Any basic MP3 player review should, therefore, give the reader clear information, considering the variety of users that may purchase the item and also the ways in which they may use it. The review is that meant to provide the best possible consumer information, and so the best type of review should give the reader the opportunity to make an informed choice about their purchase, and with confidence.
MP3 player reviews come in various styles. Some are simply tables with ratings clearly next to the criteria that are being considered. Others will consist of explanations and considerations of the various features, and also provide clear realistic examples to back up the opinion expressed. The best type of MP3 player review will provide both. This makes the review both easy to understand, will make the plus and minus points stand out, and also provide more in depth information on the device that catches the consumers eye. It will also have a clear and functional search facility that will narrow down the criteria that is most important to the buyer. This saves time and energy, and prevents unnecessary information being read.
Any review should consider a range of MP3 players within a range of price categories. The price should be clearly displayed as this is often one of the first criteria that will affect the consumer`s initial decision when choosing a product. It would be unfair to produce a review that enticed the buyer, only to show a price outside of the budget afterwards. The descriptions should place the MP3 player in the top, bottom or lowest end in terms of quality for the price category it fits. Consumers know that the higher priced models are probably the best in terms of quality and special features, but it is only the products within their price range that truly interests them.
MP3 player reviews should provide detailed information on the performance of the product, and compare it to others similar in both type and price. The sound quality should be tested thoroughly, with a range of music considered as the quality of sound will differ, for instance, with additional bass or a faster beat. The sound quality should also be tested in a variety of scenarios to ensure that most possible uses are considered; for instance, the sound quality when jogging may differ from the sound quality in a busy street. The sound should be tested through both MP3 player compatible speakers and headphones, as both are realistic possibilities.
The portability of the MP3 player is another major consideration. Size and weight can vary, and often matters a great deal to the buyer. Exact measurements should be provided where possible to give the clearest possible picture. In addition to this, the usability should be a major consideration. Some are more functional and easy to navigate than others. The buyer that is an MP3 player veteran will want a different product to that of a first time buyer.
Another consideration in any review should also be the durability, as potential buyers want to know that their chosen product is not only the best possible quality, but that it will also last. The battery life and the time taken to recharge is another important factor, and exact or average figures should be provided.

8 Things That Attract A Man to A Woman!
by: Cucan Pemo
There are certain things that are going to attract a man to a woman. If you are a man and you are wondering what you can do to make yourself more attractive to a woman, you need to pay attention. You have to check this out so that you have what it takes to draw in a woman and keep her interested in you. Being able to attract a woman is going to be the first step in building a great relationship.
1) Dress for Success
The first thing that you need to do is make sure that you are keeping up with your appearance. Women want to have a man that looks a certain way. They want to have a man that takes pride in their appearance and wants to look good for them. However I am sure that a woman does not want to have a man that is too worried about what they looks. Pretty boys are not usually what most women want however there are a few that do like this type.
Make sure that your clothes and hair and everything about you makes you look attractive. Keep yourself groomed well and always make sure that you smell good. Women go crazy for men that smell nice.
2) Take Advantage of Her Senses
You need to make sure that you are appealing to her senses. This means you need to think about what you can do to make yourself more appealing to her through her senses. You need to have everything - from the way that you sound to the way that you touch her!
Make sure that you talk in the voice that melts her from time to time. Again having the right fragrance is going to make her feel good about you too. Clothing and appearance will take care of the sight sense and you need to make sure that you keep up on the sense of touch. Give her comfort and hold her when you should and make her feel loved by the way that you touch her.
3) Make her Dream about You
Give her a reason to think about you. Whatever it is make sure that you leave an impression in her mind. It can be anything from the way that you talk to her, the affection that you show her or the little things that you do to make her happy.
Whatever it is make sure that she can never take her mind off of you. This will make her feel good and you will be able to have her in the palm of your hands all the time.
4) Make her the Center of your Universe
Treat her like she is the most important thing in your life. Of course she should be but you need to show her. Focus your attention on her and block out any distractions. This means a night out with the guys, a good looking waitress, sweet looking ride on the road or anything else that may grab your attention from her.
You want to make sure that you are giving her your full attention and making sure that she knows that she is the only thing that matters when you are together. Even when you are not together, let her know that you are thinking about her. Text her or give her a brief call from time to time. Let her know that you are always thinking of her and that you want to let her know that.
5) Flirting never hurts
Do not be afraid to flirt with her. This will make her feel sexy and good. You should never flirt with anyone else though. This will usually only make her mad and you may end up getting in a lot of trouble if you do this. Let her know that you are attracted to her.
6) STOP - Listen
Listening to a woman is going to get you far. If you are trying to win the heart of someone, you need to pay attention. Make sure that you listen to everything that she is saying and be sure to make eye contact with her. This will make her feel good and she will defiantly be attracted to you for this.
7) Take an Interest in Her Life
Women love men that take an interest in what they are doing and what they are feeling. Make sure that you are giving them a reason to want to hang out with them. Do the things that she likes to do and spend time getting to know her better. This is something that you will want to do so that she knows that you are interested in her and what she is doing in life. Ask her that her hobbies are and what she likes to do for fun.
8) Honesty IS the Best Policy
Women like men that are honest and sincere. Do not lie to her. This will only get you in trouble. You need to make sure that you are doing what you need to in order to keep the lines of communication open and never make anything up or lie to her. Give her a reason to trust you and never let her down in this way. You may never regain her trust if you do.
When you are serious about getting a woman to be attracted to you all of these techniques will help you. Use them to your best interest and take advantage of the things that you can and make sure that you are keeping all of your intentions good when you are trying to make a woman fall in love with you.

Top 10 Ways To Make A Computer Run Faster
by: Brooks Carver
Today I am going to be talking about different ways you can make a computer run faster. There is actually a lot you can do yourself that will boost your PC's performance. So lets take a look at different ways we can remedy that slow computer of yours!
1. Free Up Disk Space
A great way to make a computer run faster is to free up some disk space. Windows comes with a disk cleanup tool that helps you free up space on your hard disk. The utility identifies files that you can safely delete without messing anything up, and then enables you to choose whether you want to delete some or all of the identified files.
How to use disk cleanup tool.
* Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. If several drives are available, you might be prompted to specify which drive you want to clean.
* In the Disk Cleanup for dialog box, scroll through the content of the Files to delete list. (If you have multiple hard drives you will have to select which one to scan.)
* Clear the check boxes for files that you don't want to delete, and then click OK.
* When prompted to confirm that you want to delete the specified files, click OK.
2. Use Defrag Tool
When you add a file or a new program to a new computer, the hard drive is relatively empty so new data is saved to the hard drive in one whole block. When you need to use that information, the computer can quickly access it because it is all in one place. Defragging your system is definitely a way to make a computer run faster.
How to use defrag tool.
* From the start menu point to "all programs"
* Point to "Accessories"
* Point to "System Tools"
* Click on "Disk Defragmenter"
* The disk defragmenter will display the hard drives on your computer. Just select and click Defragment.
3. Get rid of spyware
Definition
Spyware is software with malicious intent - by design; it does something bad to your computer. Usually, it gets installed without your knowledge. It sometimes takes advantage of the fact that most people click "I Agree" to software licenses without reading them.
The only way to get rid of spyware is to have some kind of scanner, sort of like an anti-virus. In order to make a computer run faster and keep it safer your going to need an anti-spyware program. This is tricky, a lot of the spyware programs out there are malicious and will actually add viruses and spyware to your computer by using the "spyware scanner and blocker". So please remember to be very careful when choosing your anti-spyware program.
4. Find and repair disk errors
Detect and Repair Disk Errors
In addition to running Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter to optimize the performance of your computer, you can check the integrity of the files stored on your hard disk by running the Error Checking utility.
How to run the error checking utility.
* Click Start, and then click My Computer.
* In the My Computer window, right-click the hard disk you want to search for bad sectors, and then click Properties.
* In the Properties dialog box, click the Tools tab.
* Click the Check Now button.
* In the Check Disk dialog box, select the Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors check box, and then click Start.
* If bad sectors are found, choose to fix them.
Tip: Only select the Automatically fix file system errors check box if you think that your disk contains bad sectors.
5. Get an external hard drive
Adding an External Hard Drive to your computer will allow you to clear out a lot of the things you don't need to be storing on your normal hard drive.
A great example would be your music or pictures. All those songs and pictures are sitting on your computer making it go slower. You will see a decline in your computers performance as soon as you use over half of your hard drive space.
Moving all your songs or pictures to your external hard drive will free up a lot of space on your main hard drive. You can even move applications such as photoshop or games.
An external hard drive is also handy because it is portable. You can unplug it from your computer and take it to a friends house and plug it in there, sharing photos and pictures very easily.
This is truly a great way to make a computer run faster.

How To Drive Safely At Night And During The Fall
By: John Myre
After a summer of vigorous off-road adventures, one headlight beam on Stan's SUV strayed across to the shoulder of the far lane. The other beam lit up the tree line on the right shoulder. Which didn't present much of a problem in the summer, but the days were getting shorter now and Stan spent more time driving at night.
But who has time to have his headlights aligned? Other cars could see him coming, and he had enough light to see almost anything in his path ... except maybe that shadowy animal crossing the road at dusk on rain slick pavement. After Stan ran off the road dodging the animal, Stan finally took the time to get his headlights aligned.
Fall driving presents a variety of obstacles, and more drivers die from September through November than during the winter months of December through February. Slick roads, foggy mornings, and roaming wildlife are just some of the increased hazards.
You must also contend with less daylight and morning and evening sun glare.
Driving In The Dark
Everyone sees less well at night. In fact, you are three times as likely to be involved in a fatal crash at night as during daylight hours. Keep these tips in mind as the seasons change.
* Less light means slow down Drive below the speed limit and increase your following distance.
* Take curves slower, and never overdrive your headlights. Be sure you can stop if something suddenly appears in the roadway.
* Use high beams as much as possible on highways and unlighted streets. Remember, though, low beams are mandatory if you're within 500 feet of another vehicle or in fog. Note: Low beams lose their efficiency at speeds above 40 mph.
* One of the greatest dangers of night driving is sudden light from street lights, neon signs, wet pavements and approaching cars. Try to look away from glare. Use the lines or edge of the pavement on your right side to help guide you.
* Don't try to "out-glare" a vehicle that does not switch to low beams. Be the first to be courteous. Retaliation for bad manners only results in two blinded drivers.
* Take special care on poorly lit, rural roads.
Preventive Maintenance
* Clean and check your headlights regularly. Headlight dirt or misalignment can reduce the distance a driver can detect objects at night by about thirty percent.
* Get your headlights aligned during a regular maintenance stop. If you can't get to a technician, the National Safety Council suggests the following steps:
-You need 35-40 feet of flat or constantly sloped driveway.
-Shine your low beams on a garage door two to three feet away.
-Outline the bright spots with a soft pencil or tape.
-Back the car about 25 feet from the door. The top of the low beams should shine no higher than the top of the marks on the door or lower than the center of the marked circle. If you have two headlights, the high beams are also aimed.
-If you have four headlights, aim the low beams first. Adjust the high beams until the center of the high is at the top of the low beam.
Seasonal Hazards
* To minimize the glare problems at sunrise and sunset, use your visor, and wear sunglasses if necessary. Never wear sunglasses or tinted glasses at night.
* Be wary of drivers who are driving into a glare at your back. Give yourself plenty of room to come to a controlled stop.
* Turn on your headlights whenever you wonder if it's dark enough to use headlights. It will help you see and be seen.
* Clean your windshield inside and out, especially if you are a smoker. Smoke can cloud your windows and diffuse light.
* Keep paper towels or a rag handy in the interior of your car.
* Keep your wipers clean and new. Streaks make glare worse. Check the washing fluid often.
* To avoid skids in rainy weather, slow down. If you do skid, steer in the direction you want the front of the car to go.
* As soon as temperatures start diving into the 30s, slow down before crossing a bridge.
* Deer and other wildlife are active in the fall. If a collision is unavoidable, slow down to reduce the impact. Stay under control.

Bright and beautiful winter fashion for women
By: Elisha Burberry
Granted, it might be hardly noticeable after the great washout summer, but it’s true: winter is fast approaching. As any self-respecting fashionista knows, the change of season can mean only one thing: a great excuse to go shopping!
Cold weather doesn’t have to mean more clothes, just warmer ones. So you can choose whether to bulk up with cosy knits and snug, thick fabrics, or go for clever layering; team funky accessories and outerwear with your favourite key pieces from the spring and summer. That way, you don’t have to banish cute tea dresses and floral skirts to the back of your wardrobe for another year; just mix it up by adding jeans or opaque tights and legwarmers, an oversized cardigan or batwing jumper, and those essential winter boots.
Perhaps the most important key item, and the biggest investment you’ll make, for your winter wardrobe is a coat that goes with everything. Boiled wool swing coats in deep colours are set to be big this year, while a nice fitted leather trench or double-breasted mac never goes out of style. The silhouette is nipped-in waists and wide skirts, which is very flattering for all sizes. This look is actually quite retro, so have a rummage in vintage stores or even the back of your mum’s wardrobe – you never know what you’ll find! – and you might just bag a unique piece to make you the envy of hipsters everywhere.
As for colours, remember winter fashion doesn’t have to be funereal. While black, grey and charcoal are all very well and grown-up, they can be harsh and make you look slightly washed-out, or just plain boring! Instead try a dark, rich, luxurious colour which flatters your hair and skin – purple, maroon and chocolate are all good – and accessorise with flashes of colour in brighter shades of the same hue. So a deep purple coat will look great with a funky fuchsia scarf and gloves; bottle green or navy are best with the lovely bright turquoise and peacock blue tones which were all over Spring-Summer this year. A bright colour worn near your face will grab attention and warm your complexion, so consider a cute beret or cloche hat in a colour you might think outrageous for bigger pieces.
Of course you’ll need a fabulous new bag to go with all this gorgeous outerwear. A black patent tote or oversized shopper, with buckle or strap details, will keep you on-trend while making a subtle style statement. It also gives you somewhere to stash those hats, gloves, scarves and extra jumpers when you’re indoors, so no excuses for leaving them on the train! Other key pieces this season shape the overall dynamic, which is very feminine but never frilly: cutesy angora jumpers, puff sleeves and empire lines cosy up to corset belts, bold ‘statement’ necklaces, high-waisted pencil skirts and shoe boots for a chic, kitten-with-a-whip kind of vibe.
Many of these winter must-haves will be versatile from now right through spring – and, if this year’s gloomy weather trend continues, into next summer too. So, don’t wait for the first frost before splashing out on something snuggly. The final accessory that every girl should have is, of course, a good credit card; with many offering 0% on purchases for several months, you can enjoy your new look now and pay for it later without feeling the burn of high interest rates that often come with store cards.

Traveling with Your Camera
by: Suzanne VanDegrift
Think positive! The year's not half over, there's still half to go. That is when it comes to Photography Events and Festivals.
At least once a year, all across the country, smalltown America comes together to show their spirit by holding family-friendly festivals. These events are generally held on a weekend and feature local art, music and culture. And then there are the week long functions, such as the Yamhill Fair and Rodeo, which is held Sunday to Sunday in McMinville, Oregon. Not only will you FIND local art and cultural here, but you'll want to have your camera handy for those awesome rodeo riders and prizewinning flower entries.
But the Photography Events I'm going to acquaint you with now are the ones held in metropolitan areas throughout the world. These functions draw both local and internationally acclaimed artists. There are several well known events planned for the second half of 2007. Some of these festivals are being held in various cities throughout the United States, one in Canada and two in France. If you've dreamed of combining a vacation with your love of photography, this may be your chance to do just that. Choose a destination, pack your suitcases and camera bags and head out for the experience of a photographers lifetime.
First on the calendar is the Les Rencontres D'Arles Photographie held in France. Although this has already begun, it runs until September 16. If you are fortunate enough to travel to this phenomenal show, you will encounter 50 magnificent expositions.
Next on our calendar is the Foto Septiembre USA, held every year September 1 - 30 in San Antonio and other Texas cities. This is an International Photography Festival which is a popular destination for both artists and photography enthusiasts. Not only do they provide a forum which allows artist to exhibit their craft, but they also operate through a website and publication. This provides exhibitors, sponsors and advertisers the additional valuable support of internet exposure.
Next we head north to our Canadian neighbors in Montreal. The Le Mois de la Photo has been held every year since its inception in 1989 to celebrate the 150Th anniversary of photography. It is dedicated to Fine Art Photography and will feature 30 exhibits in galleries and museums throughout the city. The goal of this event has always been to educate the general public about photography as an art form. This year's guest curator will be art historian Marie Fraser whose theme will be The Narrativity of The Image, which should prove to be a captivating topic.
Next we're headed south to Georgia for Atlanta Celebrates Photography, ACP9, held in October. This is a citywide festival which is in its 9Th year. It has art exhibits in diverse locations throughout the city. You will enjoy lectures by international and local artists, a pushpin show, a film series and the public art program.
On to The Big Apple and the PhotoPlus International Conference + Expo 2007 being presented October 18 - 20. This is being called the premier event for forward- looking imaging solutions and photographic education. It also promises to bring leaders, pioneers, and rising new stars together for unprecedented networking events.
Paris Photo which is considered by many to be the leading fair for still photography will be held this year on November 15-18. It will offer photo enthusiasts some 100 galleries and publishers from all over the world. In addition to the exhibits, there will be book signings, prize award ceremonies and lectures. What could be better than to be in the City of Lights with your camera and other photographic devotees.
We wrap up the year in Florida at the Photo Miami scheduled for December 5-9. This International Contemporary Art Fair will be held in the Wynwood Art District of Miami. It focuses on Photo-based art, video and new media.
Any one of these Photography Festivals would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip whether you're a hobby photographer or photograph for living. Dust off you your camera bags and hit the road.
