Unmet financial need scholarships are awarded to students who, in addition to good academic standing, need financial assistance in order to complete a particular program of study.
To be eligible for a merit scholarship, the applicant must have completed a minimum of one year in a degree granting institution; be continuing a program of education in such an institution; demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, as evidenced by a GPA of 3.0 or higher; and show evidence of leadership by participation in community or campus activities.
There are three ways in which the foundation carries out its mission: Academic Scholarships, Fellowships and Community Assistance Awards (formerly known as Mini Grant).
